Committees In order to fulfil the mission of the Latvian Association of Certified Auditors, eight standing committees are elected at a general meeting of members and they operate for three years under the supervision of the board. Examination Committee Head - Lolita Čapkeviča Members: - Vija Dzene

Role of the Committee: - Developing regulations for qualification exams for certified auditors;
- Organising development and update of exam programs on disciplines of qualification exams for certified auditors;
- Heading exam commissions;
- Organising qualification exams for certified auditors;
- Cooperating with other committees and institutions of the Association;
- Realising economic activities in order to supplement financial resources.

Role of the Committee: - Elaborating and explaining norms of professional ethics of certified auditors;
- Informing certified auditors on current matters in the field of professional ethics;
- Realising activities in order to prevent violating norms of professional ethics of certified auditors;
- Examining matters of violation of norms of professional ethics of certified auditors;
- Cooperating with other committees and institutions of the Association.

Role of the Committee: - Collecting and analysing information on qualification of certified auditors, increase in the qualification and in the gathered experience;
- Collecting and analysing information on opportunities to increase qualification and gather new experience;
- Organising participation to lectures, seminars and conferences;
- Cooperating with professional associations of other countries and international organisations of certified auditors;
- Cooperating with other committees and institutions of the Association.

Role of the Committee: - Supervising the process of quality control over professional activities of certified auditors according to the Regulation on Quality Control.
- Examining claims as stipulated by the Regulation on Discipline;
- Within the scope of its competence cooperating with professional associations of certified auditors from other countries and international organisations;
- Cooperating with other committees and institutions of the Association.
